The IPL is scheduled to start today at 2 pm in South Africa. What I think is the IPL would have more glamour involved with it as it has been shifted to South Africa. Any team which plays well will have a good chance of winning. 

Kolkata Knight Riders is my Team and so I will be cheering for it. People think that SRK has not done a good job by removing Sourav from the Skipper's position on the words of Coach Buchanan and I too think so. On the contrary I also think Sourav would have scored less runs as a captain so it is a wise decision to take Brendon McCullum as the new skipper. He can really hit the ball hard. 

Ananya Bera (a Kolkata girl from Lake Town, a 16 year old girl from St. Francis Xavier, Salt Lake) who is still in her school days would be cheering for KKR along with other cheerleaders and I would love to see her doing that. With all these controversies and glamour involved with IPL, the IPL 2 would be an exciting spicy event to watch this summer.

Bengali words I would teach Shah Rukh Khan

1) "Boro boro deshe erokom choto choto kotha hotei thake" (taken from the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayange: "Bare bare deshon mein aisi choti choti baat hoti rehti hain") - SRK will tell these to the players of IPL Kolkata Team, when the players will fight with their teammates or with players from other teams.

2) "Jara here jite jai, taader Baazigar bole" (taken from the film Baazigar: "Har kar jeetne walon ko Baazigar kehte hain") - SRK will again tell these words to the players of his team, when the IPL Kolkata Team will loose against some other IPL Teams.

3) "Picture ekhono baaki, amar bondhu" (taken from the film Om Shanti Om: "Picture abhi baaki hain mere dost") - SRK will tell these words to some Television Commentator, when he asks SRK about the not so good performance of his IPL Kolkata Team.

4) "Hi, amar naam Rahul, naam-ta to sunechen" (taken from the film Dil To Pagal Hai: "Hi, mera naam hai Rahul, naam to suna hoga") - SRK will tell these words to some foreign sports journalist when SRK appears for an interview to her.

5) "Amra ekti innings-e ekti baar bat kori, ekti baar ball kori aar fielding-o ekti baar-i kori" (taken from the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hain: "Hum ek baar jeete hain, ek baar marte hain, shadi bhi ek baar hota hai") - SRK will tell these words to this newcomer teammates to guide them before a match starts.

The Actual Tata 1 Lakh Car - The NANO

Congrats Mr. Ratan Tata and The Tatas (TELCO) to launch such a sweet car (THE NANO). Being a True Bengali, I support their cause of opening a car factory in West Bengal where no company has ever dared to arrive. Thanks a lot to all those who made the Tatas come to Bengal. It is like a dream come true for all of us in Bengal. It is a mission-impossible made possible by Mr. Ratan Tata and Honourable Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharya. Thanks a lot, Sir.

Chak De India

After watching Chak De India, I was really overwhelmed. It is a motivating film, which very few Hindi Films are. It also has a sense of patriotism towards our mother land, India.

SRK was at his best. All the other 16 girls were also terrific. They really capture the hearts of millions.

At the end of the day I felt that it is a good film to see an each an every Indian must fo an watch it. So go and watch it, it you still haven't.

Munna-bhai meets Mahatma Gandhi

On the film, Lage Raho Munnabhai, the Gandhigiri wala Munnabhai had a chemical locha and met Gandhiji in his sub conscious mind. This time he is sure to meet Gandhiji in the Yerwada correction house at Pune because after seeing Gandhigiri spread again like virus among the Indians and also people from outside India, only because of the constant efforts of Sanju-baba, Gandhiji thought he would come an thank Sanjay Dutt.

Which place could it be better for them to meet, other than this correction house, as this is the place where Gandhiji had stayed for quite an alarming amount of his freedom struggle. Even Sanjay Dutt is going to stay here for the next six years.

There is one problem for his fans, they wont be able to see the next Munnabhai series for the next six years. I have a solution for this. The authorities can allow the film unit to go to the jail and make a new film of Munnabhai called "Munnbhai gaye jail mein". In this film the plot will be in the correction house. Im sure it will also be a great success like the previous two films.

In the film the director can make Gandhiji meet Munnbhai for real. It would be a gr8 success.
