China is now world 3rd largest Economy after US& Japan and it will become biggest economy in the world by 2020 only.
China GDP is about three times larger than India, and its exports are eight times larger.
China $4,800bn in savings dwarfs India $215bn.
China has $1,400bn of foreign exchange reserves, India has $221bn
Also its official that by 2010 along India-China border by the time one Indian Fighter Plane would enter China / Tibet around 1000 Chinese Fighter Planes would enter India. It can be imagined what china is thinking and doing. The irony is Indian govt is not doing much for India. They will only take measure when the water would reach their nose or when some vast area of land is occupied or when some thousand soldiers or people will die.

Most of China is actually a Part of India
From times immemorial the States of Northeast and regions beyond the northeastern region including but not limited to the provinces of Bayi Zhen, Nyinghi, Nedona and Lhasa have belonged to BarathVarsh (India).
Not long ago, Arjun during his banishment by Duryodhan during 3000 BC went to the north eastern states and married Chitrangada and had a son named Babruvahan to whom princess Uloopi taught the art of warfare.Princess Uloopi had herself a son from Arjun named Iravat.
During the Mahabaratha War of 3139 BC, Babruvahan and his army from the northeasten states that includes the Arunachals, Nagas from Nagaland,the armies of Mizoram , Tripura, Meghalaya and tribes from provinces of Bayi Zehn, Nyinghi, Nedona and territories deep inside China have said to have fought for the Pandavas to given them the throne of Hastinapur.
With so much of antiqueness and historicity interwoven between Arunachal and other northeastern states with BarathVarsh including provinces of China is what gives the communist the nerve to say Arunachal is disputed, let alone say it belongs to them.
In fact its the other way round, the territories of Bayi Zhen, Nyingchi,Nedona, Lhasa are all disputed and rightfully to be owned by the kingdom of Hastinapur currently named New Delhi.
What India can do to guard the Chinese threat: -
1. We have to build road infrastructure along the Arunachal Pradesh's border with china at a fast pace.We have just 5 months go do this work. China is hosting Olympics in August 2008. Therefore it would not undertake any precipitous action on the border since it would like to avoid being involved in border clashes while preparing for olympics.
2. This is the best time for us to strengthen our border road infrastructure as well as strengthen our armed forces in terms of necessary equipment for conducting the war on chinese border.
3. We should also tie up with allies like Russia and US and Japan if possible so that we can bring diplomatic pressure on China in case it undertakes military action on us.
4. And most important of all, we must keep our powder dry, so that if Chinese give us a bloody nose, they too suffer one in return.
5. We should repeal the " No first use policy" in respect of Nuclear arms at the right time so as to send the correct message to China that as a last resort, we will not hesistate using nuclear weapons, if matters come to such a bad situation.
6. Surely China is a country we have to get even with. It is not at all nice to be displaying a timorous kind of relationship with China.
7. We should hold a Massive International Conference on Budhism, annually at Tawang Monsatry and invite People from all over the world including China.
8. In general we should open up the North East to the rest of India. Promote Tourism and genuine cross cultural exchanges, not Tokenism.
9. We should promote study of Chinese languages and their culture in order to better understand their political nuances.
10. Basically we should call a spade a spade, and a competitive, potentially hostile neighbor a potentially hostile neighbor and when we shake hands with them, it should be firm with a genuine feel of a withheld CRUNCH.

Great Wall of India
India is a big country, the largest democracy, one of the superpowers of the world, a land of vast cultural heritage, a pluralistic, multilingual, and multiethnic society which has been tolerant for ages and her tolerance has been misunderstood by people all over the globe as her weakness.Some of the neighbouring countries of India are jealous of India's developments in recent times. So they have kept no stones unturned to hinder the progress India is making in various fields. Many have captured some regions of India, infiltrated their men in these captured regions of India and set up terrorist outfits to create disturbances in India to hinder our progress.
Pakistan has occupied almost more than half of Kashmir in its north (Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir) and maliciously named it Azad Kashmir. Thus they call the Indian part of Kashmir as India-occupied-Kashmir which is not actually true. Kashmir has always been an integral part of India just the way Alaska has always been an integral part of USA. China has also captured the north eastern parts of Kashmir, named it Aksai Chin and created their national highway to make their soldiers come to India and fight with the Indian Army without any difficulty. China has also captured many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. China has been instrumental in capturing Tibet and now they have marched towards Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh in the north east and claim this state to be their territory.
Great Wall of India (marked in Red Colour)So it is high time, India should do something about it. My suggestion is to first build a Great Wall of India (given in the figure above and marked in Red Colour) along the borders of India, which are not disputed. Later the disputed areas could be brought under our control diplomatically and the Great Wall can be built there. Building of a Wall on India’s borders does not mean the neighbouring country cannot break it and infiltrate inside India. It means that this wall will mark the actual border of India which is recognized by the United Nations and all other bodies of the world that recognize the borders of various countries.
Any tamper to the Great Wall of India by any of our neighbours from their side can be put forward by India on the world court and can be questioned in the most severe of terms. Thus India can ward of any future borders disputes created by her neighbours by building this permanent structure. Thus no other neighbouring country can ever claim the sacred Indian soil to be their land.
If such a bold step is not taken from Indian part, I am afraid China might eat up all the north eastern states like Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and even claim the communist Bengal to be their part. In the similar way, Pakistan might claim Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab and march off to Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra or even Delhi. Capturing Delhi means capturing the whole of India.
So along with spending crores in warfare, India should also spend only a few crores in building a permanent boundary which is the Great Wall of India.
NOTE: - I will design such a boundary in some of my later post and describe it accordingly.

Bus No 240 - Bagbazar to Jodhpur Park - Best Bus of Kolkata
Bus No 240 that ply from Baghbazar in North Kolkata to Jodhpur Park in South Kolkata is the best bus I have ever seen in my life. As you read through the post, you will come to know about why I am awarding this bus the "Best Bus of the Century Award".
This bus starts from Jodhpur Park which is a very colourful locality among the South Kolkata Localities. It travels through the most colourful areas of Kolkata, like Jodhpur Park (Jadavpur University), Selimpur (Jodhpur Park Girls' High School), Dhakuria (Murlidhar College), Golpark (South City College), Gariahat (Basanti Devi College, CMC Gariahat), Ballygunge (South Point School, Ballygunge Siksha Sadan, South Calcutta Law College, Calcutta Girls Academy, Hazra Law College, Ballygunge Science College, Modern High School), Park Circus (Our Lady Queen of the Missions School, Lady Brabourne College), CIT Road (National Medical College, Holy Child School for Girls, Loreto Day School Entally), northern part of AJC Bose Road (Rafi Ahmed Dental College, Loreto Day School Sealdah, Nilratan Sarkar Medical COllege), APC Road (George Telegraph College, Sealdah, CMC Sealdah, Victoria College), MG Road (Surendranth College for Women, Chittaranjan College, Seth Soorajmall Jalan Girls College), College Street (Presidency College, University of Calcutta, IISWBM), Bidhan Sarani (Vidyasagar College for Women, Rabindra Bharati University, Bethune College, Scottish Church College), Hatibagan (Khudiram College), Shyambazar (Raja Manindra College), Sovabajar (Seth Anandaram Jaipuria college), Baghbazar. The last stoppage is Baghbazar, which is an example of a posh/affluent Bengali Locality which has seen Kolkata emerge from a village to a city for over 400 years.
Sometimes during peak hours, one is sure to find the bus filled with more female population than male and that too between 18 to 30 as the bus passes Gariahat Junction and proceeds towards north. All of them well dressed, having a pleasing personality, they hail from good families. If you are a smart guy, you can ever choose your soul mate for life in this bus.
This bus has gained more importance as the South City Mall has come up. It is one of the few buses which lead us to South City Mall as the bus stand at Jodhpur Park is a few minutes walk from the mall.

Yahan Sab Chalta Hain Boss
We are Indians and in India we have a “Sab Chalta Hain” attitude. We do not go behind any rules and regulations. People from foreign countires are more disciplined and might describe us to be indisciplined and uncivilised lot. We know we are much worse than that. But that is what we are. We get a lot of pleasure in saying “Boss, Yahan Sab Chalta Hain”. As the song “Phir Bhi Dil Hain Hindustani” goes we can do whatever we like, anywhere. That is what makes us different from the people of rest of the world.
11 things we love to do in India.
We love to: -
· Cross our streets anywhere we want without thinking of Zebra Crossings.
· Hold meetings and processions in a park filled with greenery by digging the ground and constructing stages.
· Eat a lot in our parties and celebrations as if there is not tomorrow.
· Dance in the queerest manner on streets, which no other people can imagine even in their worst dreams.
· Block our roads to celebrate our festivals without thinking what harm that might cause to commoners.
· Pee on the roadside without caring what others might think of us.
· Allow cows, goats, pigs to roam around on our streets.
· Board our trains ticketless without any fear of being caught.
· Sleep in our Government Offices throughout the day without fear of being fired.
· Run after a moving bus or train to catch it or getting down from a moving bus or train.
· Have a good fight with anyone like a child on most trivial matters.
What can we say other than "Yahan Sab Chalta Hain Boss".
